What information should I include in my enquiry?
The most useful inputs are: the site or facility involved, the systems or assets in question (PLC make, switchgear, BMS, chargers, etc.), the outcome you are trying to achieve and any timing or budget constraints. Drawings, photos and existing reports can be shared after first contact.
Do you charge for the initial consultation?
No. The first 15-minute discovery call is free. If a site visit, audit or feasibility study is required after that, we provide a clearly scoped fixed-price proposal before any chargeable work begins.
Where do you physically operate?
Promation SA is based in Pretoria, Gauteng. We serve Pretoria and surrounding areas within approximately 150km — including Centurion, Midrand, Rosslyn, Silverton, Menlyn, Pretoria East, Irene, Midstream, Hartbeespoort, Cullinan and Bronkhorstspruit. Larger industrial projects are delivered nationally.
Do you take on small or single-site projects?
Yes. We deliver engagements ranging from single-panel upgrades and remote-monitoring deployments to multi-site programmes. Every project follows the same engineering discipline regardless of size.
Can you support equipment we did not originally install?
Yes. We routinely perform takeover audits on legacy installations — documenting the as-built state, remediating critical defects and then supporting the installation under a standard SLA.
Is my project information kept confidential?
Yes. Enquiry information is handled in line with POPIA and stays within the Promation SA engineering team. Mutual NDAs are available on request for sensitive scoping.
